In order to develop a sense of friendship, fun and community within the St George Church School, the Circle of Serbian Sisters sponsored two fun-filled activities for students and educators.

The first activity for the 2009-2010 school year took place at Nautical Lanes in Avon Lake in November.  Approximately 19 children and adults gathered together for an evening of bowling and fun.  The St. George Church School group took over four lanes and bowled like professionals!

Following this event, the Church School children attended the Cleveland Angels Children's Choir Christmas Concert at the Palace Theatre in downtown Lorain.  The children of the parish enjoyed an afternoon of snacking on popcorn, watching a wonderful show and even joining in singing popular Christmas songs.
